In other words camera angle and controls very much affect the way a game is played.I don't expect Crate to give you free-ranging camera control - ever. It's very rare that developers do this because it introduces loading and fps issues as well as a host of other things they have to account for. The traditional view and camera angle and controls are roughly the same across this sub-genre - however, nearly all of them DO NOT give you the ability to "spin the camera" around like GD does. Fourth, I'm quite active on the official forum as well - the "recent posts" you mention are by people asking if you swivel the camera.So tell us - do you even swivel bro? There are no posts about getting different angles and such - which is what you are primarily whining about and claiming that people have been banging on about it for years now. You posted on a public forum - you're going to get my opinion whether you like it or not. Third, I don't really care if you were asking for my opinion. A lurker "lurks" - they don't participate (that's why they call 'em lurkers) whereas I have been quite active all this time.
Don't have the knowledge to do it yourself? Then convince someone with the skills to do it or use GrimInternals and GrimCam, as mentioned above, to make it work. If you want it bad enough, mod it.
